Paula Watkins- World renowned, Singer, Psalmist, workshop clinician, choir director, Author, wife and mother. She is a Tampa native and most of all, a woman of God. Paula is married to Pastor Dominic Watkins, Pastor of The Freedom Church of Tampa, Inc. where she is the First Lady, over the Praise Team and Women’s Ministry. They have three beautiful children, Steven, Sy’riah and Chase.

Formerly Paula Stevens; She was born and raised in Tampa Bay and raised in the First Baptist Church of Lincoln Gardens where her Uncle the late Rev. John “Big John” Stephen was the founder and Pastor. She attended Hillsborough County Schools. She is a graduate of King High School in Tampa where she was actively involved in the music, dance and theater departments. She went on to complete her undergraduate studies at  Florida A & M University and obtained her Bachelors Degree.

Lady Paula’s singing career has awarded her the opportunity to share the stage and sing background for many gospel artist, and celebrities , locally and abroad. She has played the Disney- House of Bkues stage for their Gospel Burnch (formekrly known as the Kirk Franklin Gospel brunch) for over 17 years. Her desire is to take you to another dimension in worship.  Worshiping God through music can profoundly affect every part of your life.

She is the Founder of Love YOUrself to Life,an Non-profit Organization designed to empower, educate, and restore women, men, children and families as a whole, to be a BETTER YOU! Changing lives, one HEART at a time. In addition, she is also an Author and recently released her first book collaboration entitled, GET UP GIRL! Lady P as she is afdecitonaky called, loves the Lord, her family, and has a passion for helping others. Her favorite scripture is Be not weary in well doing for in due season you shall reap if you faint not; Galatians 6:9
